Talya Miron-Shatz, Ph.D.

Talya Miron-Shatz, PhD is an associate professor of marketing at the Ono Academic College, Israel, and a visiting research collaborator at Princeton University, where she has been a postdoctoral fellow with Nobel Laureate Daniel Kahneman.

Talya's research focuses on the ways people misunderstand medical information, the implications for their decision making and ultimately their health. She believes that academic insight on these topics can make a difference in people's lives.

Talya teaches consumer behavior at Wharton, and is a keen speaker on decision making  to medical and financial forums. She published novels and non-fiction books. Talya and her husband have three children, who get to hear about medical decision making more than they would like to.
