Shelley H. Carson, Ph.D.

Shelley H. Carson, PhD, is an adjunct faculty member at Harvard University, the Department of Psychology. She is also a consultant on a major Department of Defense web project to provide mental health interventions for Service Members returning from deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan. Carson received her PhD. in experimental psychopathology from Harvard in 2001. Since that time, she has published numerous articles in national and international scientific journals. Her research on the interface between psychopathology and creativity has been presented at national symposia and highlighted in national media, including the Discovery Channel, CNN, and National Public Radio, as well as in international publications.
