Peter Strong, Ph.D.

Peter Strong, Ph.D is a scientist and Buddhist psychotherapist, based in Boulder, Colorado, who specializes in the study of mindfulness and its application in Mindfulness Psychotherapy. He trained in the US and the UK and developed the methods of Mindfulness Meditation Therapy and the use of Experiential Imagery-based Psychotherapy. He uses mindfulness-based psychotherapy for individuals to treat anxiety, depression, phobias, grief and post-traumatic stress. He teaches mindfulness techniques to help couples overcome habitual patterns of reactivity that cause interpersonal conflict. Peter also offers teaching seminars to groups and companies with an employee wellness program and interest in stress management.
