John Call

John A. Call, Ph.D., J.D., A.B.P.P. is a forensic psychologist, an attorney, and president of Crisis Management Consultants, Inc. Dr. Call is a Diplomate in Forensic Psychology of the American Board of Professional Psychology and the American Board of Forensic Psychology. Dr. Call is a consultant on disaster psychology to the Oklahoma Department of Health, the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, the Memorial Institute for Prevention of Terrorism, and the University of Oklahoma Terrorism and Disaster Center. He is currently a member of Oklahoma's Disaster Mental Health Task Force and a consultant to the Oklahoma City Police Department and the Oklahoma City Fire Department. He has extensive experience in researching and applying psychological principles to meet individual and community needs post disaster and has provided training on these topics locally, nationally and internationally. Dr. Call was instrumental in the design and implementation of America's first community mental health response, Project Heartland, to a major terrorist event, the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing.
