Jessica Hayden

Jessica Hayden is a choreographer, dance teacher, and the owner and head instructor of Shockra Dance Studio in Manhattan. Most recently, she choreographed for Urban Stages' Off-Broadway production of 27 Rue de Fleurus. She also choreographs original works through her theater dance company, SHOCKra Arts. Like other dance teachers, she works closely with professional Broadway dancers, but her specialty is teaching absolute beginners, helping them discover body awareness for the first time. She is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and was trained at Broadway Dance Center in New York City.
