George Davis

George Davis is professor emeritus at Rutgers University. His newest work of creative nonfiction, Until We Got Here: From "We Shall Overcome" to "Yes We Can", will be published in 2010. He has been a reporter and editor for The Washington Post and The New York Times, as well as a contributing editor to Black Enterprise and Essence magazines.
