Eliezer Sobel

Eliezer Sobel is the author of The 99th Monkey: A Spiritual Journalist's Misadventures with Gurus, Messiahs, Sex, Psychedelics and Other Consciousness-Raising Experiments; Minyan: Ten Jewish Men in a World That is Heartbroken, winner of The Peter Taylor Prize for the Novel; and Wild Heart Dancing. He is also a musician, retreat leader and teacher of the 5 RhythmsTM movement practice, and has led creativity workshops at Esalen Institute and similar venues. He writes, "Although my business card describes my profession as 'human being,' my wife claims that I only work at it part time. It feels like overtime to me."
