Dave Sobel

Dave Sobel is an Associate Professor of Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences at Brown University. He is the director of the Causality and Mind Lab, an NSF-funded research group that studies cognitive development in infants and preschoolers. His work focuses on children's understanding of the causal structure of the environment and children's understanding of other's mental states. Dave earned a BA in psychology and computer science from Swarthmore College and an MA and Ph.D. in psychology from UC Berkeley.
