Carole A. Travis-Henikoff

Carole is the award-winning author of Dinner With A Cannibal: the Complete History of Mankind's Oldest Taboo, and Passings: Death, Dying, and Unexplained Phenomena, due out spring of 2010. She's an independent scholar specializing in Paleoanthropology, an author, lecturer, businesswoman and rancher. She sits on the board of the Stone Age Institute and has lectured on many subjects. A founding member of the Paleoanthropology Society, she has traveled with the Getty Conservation group and participated in a paleoanthropological dig under the auspices of the Institute of Human Origins. Other fields of expertise include death, the processes of dying, grief and anomalous occurrences.
