Amy Fries

Amy Fries is a respected writer and editor whose articles and essays on lifestyle and workplace issues, psychology, and travel have been published in a variety of magazines, newspapers, trade publications, and literary journals. In addition, Amy has written numerous articles on health and wellness for the website, AchieveSolutions.net. She is the author of Daydreams at Work: Wake Up Your Creative Powers, a book about the valuable role daydreams play in our lives and how to tap into them for ideas, energy, and solutions. An enthusiastic and unrepentant daydreamer, Amy began her research into daydreaming and creativity while getting her masters in writing at Johns Hopkins University. She was the senior editor at Capital Books for a number of years and has taught writing and literature at George Mason University.
