Alan Fogel

Alan Fogel is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and has been an active contributor to research on emotional and sensorimotor development in the social context during during infancy and adulthood for the past 30 years. His books include Developing through Relationships (1993, Chicago), Change Processes in Relationships (2006, Cambridge), and Infancy: Infant, family, and society, 5th edition (2009, Sloan), and The Psychophysiology of Self-Awareness: Rediscovering the Lost Art of Body Sense (2009, Norton). Fogel is also a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, a licensed massage therapist, a Rosen Method Bodywork practitioner (www.alanfogelrosenmethod.abmp.com), and founding editor of the Rosen Method International Journal (www.rosenjournal.org ).
