As many previous posts have explored, we suffered a terrible loss recently. In response to this loss, everybody has been telling me to comfort myself. The post is about how I listened to that advice, but when I said what I really wanted, what would comfort me the most, everybody said don't do it.
As the picture indicates, I did it anyway.
Now we have a puppy.
Nothing earth-shattering. Just a quick update on the journey of grief I've been exploring here (unexpectedly, as is often the case).
