Another great post, my friend. I like the scientific back-up you've utilized to clarify your point, and I think you're asking all the right questions. It's refreshing that someone is correlating intellect and artistry rather than dysfunction and artistry, as is so often the case. Both schools of thought are interesting pursuits, but maybe we can knock down the old model of the mad artist--blast van Gogh for fooling us all into believing it so, lol.
