I have been looking up answers to the question, "What damage is done to the brain of a fetus whose mother uses heroin during pregnancy?" The predominant answers were "Learning Disabilities and Behavior Problems". Now my next question is: "What is it that causes that? Is it chemical or organic, or something else? If we knew the answer to that, maybe we could eventually come up with a remedy! Any good ideas out there? Thanks!
Actually I am especially interested in long-term effects as the child enters adulthood. Thank you!
