Does overuse of technology put teens at risk?

The dangers for teens who abuse technology are well documented: predators trawling the internet and trapping unsuspecting victims in scams or worse, sexting and nude photos making the rounds of schools and communities, viral You-tube videos that lead to bullying and social difficulties for some hapless adolescents, and driving while texting—all imperil our often naïve and impulsive teenagers. But what poses the greatest risk? Is the biggest danger the use of technology from behind the wheel? Is it the prevalence of underage on line hook-ups? And what about the potential for addictive behaviors on the part of individuals who are connected 24-7? Does their health and do their relationships suffer?
