The sacred isn’t a place to be discovered

But a condition created in acts of loving-kindness.

Hold life as sacred.

Treat it with reverence.

Act with care.

Act with respect.

Work that does no harm is honorable work.

Work that contributes to humanity is noble work.

You are successful when others benefit from your efforts.

You are unsuccessful when others are diminished by what you do.

Gardeners must care for their gardens.

Since you live in others’ gardens you must care for others, too.

To be touched is to know that you exist.

To exist is a miracle.

Some plants bloom best when pot bound.

Some die if not left wild.

Some plants thrive in dappled light, others need direct sunshine.

Every plant needs its proper soil.

The proper soil for human cultivation is respect.

From respect grows the miracle of love.
