I was asked to write this blog because of my soon to be published book, Passings; Death, Dying and Unexplained Phenomena. In this blog I will concern myself mostly with unexplained phenomena - "anomalous occurrences" - that do not fit into test tubes, cannot be prepared for the microscope, replicated or proven. interesting
Please do so. I think a lot of people want to hear more of such a subject and yes, a lot of people are to reluctant to talk about unexplainable things. Myself being one of them. Crazy? No. Seeing thing things in a different light? Yes.

Thank you for the encouragement. Over the years I've found that most people are interested but not in public. C
Fascinating Topic! However,
Fascinating Topic! However, it would mean more to me to know what your definition of "anomalous occurrences" actually means? I look forward to learning more. Thanks!
Death & Dying
I have to wonder why so many people seem to have a problem with death & dying? Weren't we all dead until we were born? Why assume the "after" will be any different than the "before?"
Have you, in doing the research for your book, found this to be a common view outside of religiously based cultures? Might it be that creating the notion of an afterlife serves merely to:
1) generate fear of the unknown and
2) provide a privileged place for priests?
An interesting point...wouldn't you say? Though I can't believe I'm the first to make this observation.

The fear of death is innate within us all, it is natural protective device; without it you wouldn’t look when crossing the street or instinctually avoid the edge of a cliff. Most religions put forth beliefs that work to assuage the fear of death.
Are you looking for examples of Unexplained Phenomena. With Death
Here in the Missouri Ozarks, I've seen some and heard serveral stories.
1. I saw was a death crown found in pillow after a wonderful lady's passing.
2. On Moma's death bed she described 3 of her friends waiting for her.
There are several other stories, if intereted.

People who are close to dying often see, speck with or dream of friends or relatives who assure the dying person that they are waiting for them. I cover such events in my up-coming book, Passing: Death, Dying and Unexplained Phenomena.
Could you explain "death crown" for me?
