Traveling in Europe after college, Barbara Taylor of Ottawa, Ontario, entered France. In her passport booklet was a steamy photo of her. "I had no idea how it got in there," she recalls, "I felt horrified."
The agent grinned. Returning the passport and photo, he said, "A special welcome to France."
Taylor forgot the incident. Eventually she decided to write a self-help book on keeping the romantic spark alive in marriage. "I wanted to identify the ingredients of ‘happily ever after.'"
In interviews, she realized that much of couple's "glue" involved magic moments, often little erotic escapades tinged with daring. "I dropped the book idea for game involving memorable escapades." The result: "Wildly Sexy Dares," the game of erotic surprises--and a great holiday gift.
It begins with both lovers declaring the prize they'd like to win. "We encourage fun couple activities," Taylor explains, "a weekend getaway or anything that helps them feel close."
The game uses 150 "dare" cards, 75 for each. His and hers decks include three levels of play: mild, hot, and extra-spicy. In addition, each card contains a Dare worth points, a Double-Dare worth more points, and a Bonus Dare worth even more. Players win points for accomplishing the dares they select. The first player to earn 1000 points wins. But both players win because the game is fun and they share the prize. There's no game board. Dares get performed over a month or two as players weave the naughty antics into their lives.
A Mild Dare for her: Place sexy panties in his pocket before work (5 points). The Double Dare: Wrap the panties around his phone or another an item he uses in front of others (10 points).
A Mild Dare for him: Kiss her in a crosswalk in front of cars stopped at the light (5 points). The Double Dare: Make it a long movie kiss (10 points).

In the Extra-Spicy category for him: Wear a thick rolled up sock in your pants in public (15 points). The Double Dare: Poses for photos.
While designing "Wildly Sexy Dares," Taylor recalled her experience entering France. It became an Extra-Spicy card For Her involving sexy photos placed in a book he's reading.
What if one person is more adventurous than the other? No problem. The game can be played at any level of personal comfort. Players select their own dares, ones they feel they can accomplish. Your partner doesn't dictate, or even make requests. And you don't have to perform all your dares to win. Spicier dares are worth more points. But if you perform mild dares frequently, the points add up quickly.
Falling in love, committing yourself to another person--that's a big risk, a wild sexy dare if you will. But as the years pass, couples forget that they ever did anything daring.
