In regards to the post I Sit Here Shaking My Head....I must include a link that was provided by a reader and commenter (thank you) in that post so if you have not seen it, you can read it, too. The link, from The Herald Sun details many problems between both parents in the family. I want to post it here - and please read the comments on the post I've linked to above. There are excellent points made.

Still, the fact that cancer has become the focal point has touched a nerve. Being ill and parenting is a fear for parents who are not struggling with these types of dynamics.
