Obama reference
Why was Michelle Obama referenced in this article? Does she have anything to do with this problem? After I read this, I stopped reading.
I love Michelle Obama
even more now than I did here - in The Bravery of Michelle Obama - http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/addiction-in-society/200811/the-brav....
She seems completely comfortable in her own skin, she's so strong and capable - ignoring all the flack while rearing her children and supporting here husband.
But she still won't be able to make a dent in childhood obesity: http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/addiction-in-society/200909/why-we-w....
our great depression is our lives
this is why i think things like music, movies, and art, culture in other words are so important. michelle obama with all her good intentions can't do squat because like taking reservatrol pills she will try to change one thing and hope it affects everything. but an influential musician/artist whatever doesn't influence people in WHAT to do but HOW to do. i think someone with a cultural power instead of political could inspire people enough to, i donno? maybe get the ball rolling?
then again so many things are out of our hands like geogrophy impacting our wealth so drastically, and we have money so we get what we want when we want, and we ain't givin' up money willingly.
in other words sometimes no matter how hard you try, if the world ain't ready it don't matter.
