Addiction in Society

Addiction—the thematic malady for our society—entails every type of psychological and societal problem.

"My Wife May Be Calling" - Tiger Loses His Lustre

Tiger Woods kept a sqeakly clean image against all odds - and all reality.  Was it being a man that made him cheat non-stop?  Was it being a star athlete?  Or was his inherent potential for infidelity revealed by his selection of a big-boobed blonde to marry? Read More

Boobs are the problem

Clearly what's needed are inflatable breast implants so that women can fulfill whatever roll their husbands need. Husband bored with B4 wife? She deflates her tomatoes, dyes her hair black, and becomes his "mistress." Problem solved.

Say what?

Stanton, I normally love your posts but this one was . . . mostly off, at least in its discussion of the women, their bodies, and especially their names. Where I think you're right is over Tiger's squeaky clean image, which clearly was unsustainable, whether or not he likes women with big breasts.

How about discussing the cheesy behavior of women now vying to cash in with their hoarded voicemail and "sexts"? Or his fairly eloquent statement about privacy, where he discussed our expectation that he somehow "owes" us access to all his dirty laundry?

You're right

As far as the women's names go - my daughter Anna told me to lose the P.S. - it's gone.

But the fact the women are cashing in on screwing the Tiger simply reinforces my idea that Tiger's cheesy standards, as indicated by the trophy wife he selected, leads him to select cheesy women for affairs.

Trophy wife? Um, Dr. Peele,

Trophy wife? Um, Dr. Peele, yes, she's an attractive woman. But she also attended Lund University in Sweden with intentions of becoming a child psychiatrist working to help pay her way and was a trusted nanny when life happened to her other plans. I don't think you should characterize her as a trophy wife as that just puts her in a too close a class of Tiger's other "women".

The Destruction from Sex Addiction

A friend wrote an article on this. http://www.scientificblogging.com/mom039s_perspective/blog/tiger_made_ac...

As a marketer, I can say that it may be impossible for him to be a spokesperson anymore. What company can afford to be associated in anyway with a sex addict?

Conquests?!?! You've got to

Conquests?!?! You've got to be kidding! What conquest has he achieved by being with women who aren't at all picky? It wasn't like he was their first (or, from what I gather from the reports, their 100th)!
