Once Depression has persisted and Depressive episodes increase,It's too late,there's no reversing brain damage. This is about bipolar disorder going unchecked not about drugs. Many Depressed people abuse these drugs that make them feel good. Sincerely,David

natural childbirth?

I'm not sure I get the connection between the rise of natural childbirth and American's unwillingness to experience pain. Doesn't natural childbirth, with its non-medicated approach, demonstrate a greater willingness to experience pain?

No Tracking Mechanisms

Another issue that we seem to be overlooking is the availability of prescription drugs to those with power and money. Currently the only way prescription drug abuse can be tracked is through the use of insurance (public or private). For those with the means to hire private physicians and pay privately for prescriptions, the system is open to abuse.

The drug that likely killed Michael Jackson Diprivan addicts never heard of. I could go on for hours about this. I know many people who have OD and died from dope and pills.
Nothing will make users stop. They started robbing pharmacies were i live years ago. They will steel from mom, dad, brother , sister, friends anyone for a fix every day.
Personally I have had many surgeries and took the most powerful drugs you can get on & off for 5 years. Never got hooked. You just feel sick for a couple days. No big deal, but junkies are so weak they can't do it. They are simply put Pussies.
