There are several reasons I haven't considered running for president. But it is actually more mind-boggling for me to consider the situation of Michelle Obama. Here are the top five remarkable things about her relationship with Barack and her family. Read More

Hero
For the first time in my adult life, I can actually say I look up to a woman as a hero. Modern women heroes tend to be celebrities. What have they really accomplished? Michelle Obama has struck the perfect balance of mother, wife, career and intelligence. As a woman she is equally her own person as she is dedicated to her husband and family. And let us not forget that she stands equally as strong next to Barack...not an easy place to hold. Michelle shows true character and inspiration to all women.
Trouble in Paradise
It's good to remember, this extremely strong relationship took some work. In "The Audacity of Hope," Barack Obama wrote about a period of family conflict, when he was running for Congress and the highly busy professional Michelle had to cover home base. As a result, Barack writes, her "anger toward me seemed barely contained."
