ADD/ADHD
Most people have trouble paying attention to boring tasks that require continued effort, but those with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD, also known as ADD) are at the far end of the spectrum. They may also be hyperactive and impulsive. Although it's typically considered a childhood disorder, millions of adults suffer. Stimulants such as Ritalin and Adderall are the most common treatment, but nonpharmaceutical approaches such as meditation are becoming popular.
