How to Stop Weight Gain
Four common nutrients-the mineral chromium, vitamin B-6, vitamin
B-12 and multivitamins-may help slow weight gain in middle-aged adults.
In one new study, people who had taken supplements of these vitamins had
less weight gain over the previous 10 years than those who didn't,
particularly if they were initially overweight or obese.
A Case of Men First
In a full 40 percent of cases where couples are having difficulty
conceiving a baby, the infertility problem rests with the male partner.
When couples are having trouble, experts say, the man should be evaluated
first, before the women, as it's a more cost-effective and less invasive
procedure. The remedy for male infertility is sometimes as simple as
switching a prescription medication.
Pain from the Brain
Physical distress is nearly as common as emotional distress among
people who suffer from depression. Along with symptoms usually associated
with depression such as fatigue, lack of motivation and moodiness,
depressed patients report muscle pain, headaches and leg pain two to
three times as often as those without depression.

In billions of dollars, the estimated amount attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder costs Americans in lost income a year, according
to a Harvard researcher. It's more than the total costs of drug abuse or
depression.
