HE SAID, SHE SAID, THEY ATE
Men forget what they eat, especially snacks. Women have far better mealtimememories, according to researchers at the Department of Agriculture. When 10 couples recalled their shared meals, women consistently hit the calorie mark, but men often had no idea whether an item was low-fat and omitted snacks altogether. The study, published in the Journal of the American Dietetics Association, speculates that women have better recall because they are more involved in food preparation and are generally more conscious of nutrition.
